Two very special guests were in attendance, Gregory Barbet from Loron et Fils in Beaujolais and Vincent Pugibet from Domaine la Colombette in Languedoc. They  held a master class with an exclusive tasting of their wines.

Nash Wines recognize the valuable contribution training can make to your business and how important wine has become. The sessions gave staff first hand experience  by interacting with the wine makers and their excellent tutored tasting of a wide selection of wines as well as the importance of service and selling proved to be of immense help to the participants stated Brian Hogan, Area Sales Manager, Nash Wines.

The sessions were held in Cork, Dublin and Limerick during April,2012.

Nash Wines History since 1832

Nash Wines is a 100% Irish owned company, first established in Newcastle West, Limerick in the South West of Ireland in 1832 and today we have one of the largest selection of wines from all around the globe available just a click away.

The company as we know it was the brainchild of Richard & Johanna Nash and it has remained a family business. Using only the best ingredients and the pure water from St. David’s Well, the enterprising couple mixed, bottled, capped and distributed their soda water and ginger ale for thirsty farm workers. Displaying a flair for anticipating trends, their innovation led to distribution to local pubs and markets beyond. This is where the interest in wine began and soon Nashs were importing and bottling wine in Newcastle West.

Starting only with a pony and trap, Nashs was soon using trains and 40 horses and traps to distribute their increasingly popular products. By the 1920s though, lorries had replaced the traditional form of transport and today we have a nationwide delivery service in place which can deliver wine to your door overnight.

We take our Wine selection very seriously and have spent the last number of years compiling a selection of top quality wines from all over the Globe with two goals in mind, Taste and value.

Our Website carries over six hundred wines offering a huge choice of grape varieties, regions and prices to suit all budgets.

We also have a team of wine specialists in our office ready to help you with any query you may have.
