Reserva de Familia Cabernet Sauvignon 2009 Highlighted by Michael Schachner in his Seminar and Tasting in Chile.

The prominent Wine Enthusiast Magazine Editor, Michael Schachner, hosted the Seminar and Tasting: “How successful wines were positioned in the U.S.?” In his presentation, he explained the current state of the U.S. wine market and the opportunities and challenges this market offers to Chilean wineries.

In the tasting, Schachner highlighted Reserva de Familia Cabernet Sauvignon 2009 as a modern Cabernet from Maipo Valley with aromatic character and excellent value for money.

Santa Carolina wines have been present in various activities around the world during 2012:

• In the Norwegian city of Dremmen, at Moa Moa restaurant was carried out a tasting of Santa Carolina Reserva and Varietal range. The event was organized by Haugen Gruppen, Santa Carolina’s importer in the Scandinavian country.

• An outstanding participation had Santa Carolina in Expo Wine 2012, held in Asunción, Paraguay on the 19th and 20th of June. For two days, visitors learned about the red varieties of our Premium and Super Premium ranges.

A remarkable participation have had Santa Carolina wines in international competitions during 2012. At the Concours Mondial de Bruxelles, 6 wines were awarded with gold and silver medals; Santa Carolina Reserva de Familia Cabernet Sauvignon 2009, Specialties Dry Farming Carignan 2009 and Reserva Sauvignon Blanc 2011 received the gold medal.

In the Sélections Mondiales des Vins in Canada,
Santa Carolina Reserva de Familia Cabernet Sauvignon 2009, was again awarded with a gold medal, and our icon wine, VSC vintage 2009 also won the highest award.
